In contrast to traditional wet painting, powder painting is faster, more economical, more durable and more environmentally friendly. At Prostor Design, we use two painting workstations for this purpose, equipped with DATEL powder coating equipment and WAGNER coating electronics. Our workshop also allows us to use the coating material without waste, which further reduces the operating costs incurred.

How durable is a powder coating?

Powder coatings are very durable and weather resistant. The coating materials take years to fully cure and therefore can be punched or further processed after treatment without the paint flaking off. In addition, this type of coating is also particularly resistant to impact and mechanical stress.  

When is it best to use powder coatings?

Because of its durability, powder coating is especially popular for machine and vehicle components. However, because it is also fast and economical, powder coating is now used for diverse uses. Windows, doors, tools and everyday items of all kinds are powder coated to protect them from wear and weather.

Common applications

Powder coating now has thousands of different applications, as all conductive materials and now many non-conductive materials can be powder coated. Nevertheless, steel and aluminum are still the most suitable surfaces for powder coating. Particularly essential application would be:
