The necessary heat is generated by the electrical resistance in the parts through which the current is passed. The material is usually heated to the point of fusion until the <\/span><b>two parts join together in a liquid state<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. However, <\/span><b>solid phase bonds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are also possible with some materials. This means that an <\/span><b>additional material is not necessary<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as in other welding methods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spot welding is a resistance pressure welding process with which different metals and metal combinations<\/span><b> can be precisely welded.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Here, parts are heated by electrodes only at their point of contact for a short time to concentrate the heat on the smallest possible area. In the process, the <\/span><b>parts are pressed together under high pressure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to produce a strong joint. This process is mainly used for<\/span><b> nut welding<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in the <\/span><b>automotive industry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and in the <\/span><b>electrical industry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e.g. for the <\/span><b>production of capacitors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><b> circuit breakers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or<\/span><b> connections of coils<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ORA-pAC4Juc?si=rcCwVJzRrVYXgsoe\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advantages of spot resistance welding<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spot resistance welding has several advantages over other methods, which is why it is especially useful when <\/span><b>processing thin sheets<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It can be used to precisely join various <\/span><b>materials of different thicknesses<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spot welding is particularly <\/span><b>energy-efficient<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as only the joining point is selectively heated<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Components are <\/span><b>not damaged by excessive heating<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is especially important with small components<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>It does not require filler material <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and is therefore particularly useful with smaller components<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spot welding can be <\/span><b>automated<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">especially well for mass production<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the help of the spot resistance welding process, we can <\/span><b>precisely weld together various sheet metal parts <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for you.
